Limitation of Damages
In no event shall Westside Industries Inc. dba Scientific Vapor be liable for consequential damages for breach of this warranty. Some states doe not all the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to the buyer.
Warranty Coverage
We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect. This warranty covers one year from the date of original purchase from our facility. This is solely limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts and labor assembly. We do all warranties of our products and do not use outside vendors for repairs.
If your product ever needs service, it may be shipped to Westside Industries Inc. dba Scientific Vapor and follow these procedures for warranty services;
- Create a return merchandise authorization (RMA) at https://www.scientificvapor.com/rma
- You are responsible for transporting your product or arranging for its transportation to our facility. You must pay the initial shipping charges to our facility and we will pay for return shipping charges.
- When returning your unit for warranty service, a copy of the original sales receipt must be attached.
- Please include the following: University or business name, laboratory number or suite number, address, daytime telephone number, and a description of the problem.
This warranty does not apply to any product which has been improperly assembled, subjected to misuse or abuse, has been altered or damage, ordinary wear and tear, improper maintenance, attached to any unauthorized equipment, theft or loss, liquid damage or repaired in any way. This warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship. In addition, certain components such as lithium polymer batteries have a shorter 30-day warranty. Liability for consequential damages is excluded to the extent exclusion is permitted by law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty may not be altered other than in writing signed by and officer of Westside Industries Inc. dba Scientific Vapor.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT OUR OPTION, OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND SHALL IN NO EVENT INCLUDE INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COMMERCIAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCTS LOST, STOLEN AND/OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITAITONS AND EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY.
Components repaired or replaced are warranted through the remainder of the original warranty period only. The defective components will be repaired or replaced without charge, subject to the terms and conditions described above.
