One Year Limited Warranty

We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship and will remedy any such defect. All repairs are handled in house; we do not use outside vendors.

Warranty coverage

We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agree to remedy any such defect. This warranty covers one year from the date of original purchase from our facility, and is solely limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts and labor assembly. We perform all warranty work on our products and do not use outside vendors for repairs.

Certain components, such as lithium polymer batteries, carry a shorter 30-day warranty.

Requesting service

If your product ever needs service, it may be shipped to Westside Industries Inc. DBA Scientific Vapor. Follow these procedures for warranty service:

  1. Create a return merchandise authorization (RMA) on our RMA request form.
  2. Arrange transportation of your product to our facility. You pay the initial shipping charges to us, and we pay the return shipping charges.
  3. Include a copy of the original sales receipt with the returned unit.
  4. Include your university or business name, laboratory or suite number, address, daytime telephone number, and a description of the problem.

Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to any product that has been improperly assembled, subjected to misuse or abuse, altered or damaged, subject to ordinary wear and tear, improperly maintained, attached to unauthorized equipment, lost or stolen, or that has suffered liquid damage or been repaired in any way. It does not cover problems caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.

Liability for consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. This warranty may not be altered except in writing signed by an officer of Westside Industries Inc. DBA Scientific Vapor.

Limitation of damages

In no event shall Westside Industries Inc. DBA Scientific Vapor be liable for consequential damages for breach of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to the buyer.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT OUR OPTION, OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND SHALL IN NO EVENT INCLUDE INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COMMERCIAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCTS LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY.

Components repaired or replaced are warranted through the remainder of the original warranty period only. Defective components will be repaired or replaced without charge, subject to the terms and conditions described above.
